- In 1782, Sarah Via is listed in the Personal Property Tax records ofAlbemarle County, Virginia with no male tithables over 21 years, 3 cattle, and 2 horses.
On March 31, 1784, Sarah's land was mentioned in the processioning records of Fredericksville Parish, "The lines between Thomas Carr & Sarah Via not found.
Where and when Sarah died is unknown. It appears that Sarah remained in Albemarle County until 1801. Property taxes on 200 acres of land were charged to Sarah Via from 1782 through 1801. These records indicate that Sarah Via did not remarry but remained a widow.1 _TITLE Notes
