- On September 25, 1794, Robert Turner sold 113 acres to Wade Via, Fanny'sbrother. Witnesses to this deed were Micajah Via, father of Fanny, Wade Via, Rowland Horsley, and William Ballard, brother-in-law to Wade Via.
On September 3, 1803, William Ballard and Fanny, his wife, of Albemarle County sold to Fanny's brother Menoah Via 115 acres of land. This land was at the foot of Pasture Fence Mountain adjoining the lands of Benjamin Brown dec, Bezaleel Brown, William Ballard, and Nathan Harris.1 _TITLE Notes
