  	Newspaper Mention, In the Tazewell Republican - 24 September 1903 Mr. Joesph F. Shelton was married at Graham, Va on Tuesday afternoon to Miss Laura Burress, daughter of J.W. Burress. Mr. Shelton is a painter and the first three months of the present year was a member of the "Republican" force. He is an excellent young man. Joe came up to Tazewell on Monday to get his license and called to see us, but did not let the boys know he was in town on such important business. We extend our congratulations.
